I think about the universe, how it began, and how we fit into it.
I think about the universe, how it began, and how we fit into it.
I am an astrophysicist and research scientist focused on observational cosmology and probing fundamental physics with signals from the early universe, and an archaeologist with a focus on the history of the indigenous peoples of the Americas. In particular, I think about the ways humans think and interact with the cosmos, and how their knowledge led to the material culture we study today. I am a devoted camper, hiker, climber, and have a passion for photography, visual arts, and the preservation of our natural environment.
